Eco Tour. Hiking in The Bahamas

This Eco tour allows you to experience the intrigue of the flora, fauna, and marine geology found in the stunning and private Blue Lagoon Island. It begins with a kayak paddle across the lagoon, where you will see and learn about some of the inland tidal zone wildlife. Our knowledgeable and entertaining guides will tell you all about it! while visiting sites on the island, learning about folklore, native foods and plants, birds, and our diverse marine life, including manta rays, sharks, dolphins, and sea lions. Spend time exploring parts of this tropical paradise for a true island experience. Your hour-long tour culminates with a visit to The tower, with its magnificent views of the surrounding turquoise waters. Each participant will receive a bottle of water and a personal digital image taken during the tour.

After your tour, visit the habitat of our California sea lions who were rescued from Gulfport Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina, including the stars of the movie Slappy and the Stinkers.

Guests must be able to stand, walk unassisted along a slightly uneven rock and sand path, climb stairs to the top of the Tower, and be able to paddle a kayak without assistance. The Eco Nature Adventure tour is available for guests ages 10 and up.

Children ages 10-17 must be accompanied by a responsible ticketed parent/guardian participating in the Eco Nature Adventure Tours program.

Drones, scuba equipment, or metal detectors are not allowed on the island.

Food and drinks from outside are not allowed on the island.

Blue Lagoon Island reserves the right to refuse service to any guest under the influence of alcohol or any illegal drug.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the reserved program. Groups may require a longer cancellation period based on size.

Refunds will not be issued for guests who do not meet the program requirements due to age, physical condition, maternity, or who violate company policies.

Rain or shine! There are no refunds for bad weather unless the excursion is canceled by Blue Lagoon Island.

While Blue Lagoon Island works hard to ensure general accessibility, we ask that guests with special needs call our Reservations Department prior to booking the Eco Nature Adventure Tour to ensure it is a suitable option.
